Kim Reynolds only moved into her new home at Richport Properties' Village Grove a few months ago, but she is already raving about the community's great character and has already gotten to know several of her new neighbors. Located in Suwanee, the live, work, play community features residential, commercial, retail and recreational areas. Comprised of various neighborhoods, Richport Properties has homes in The Enclave at Village Grove priced from the mid $200,000s.
Reynolds lived in a community about a mile away and watched with much satisfaction and interest as Village Grove was being developed.
"I really like this area of Suwanee, and when I began to search for a new home for myself, I was drawn to Village Grove," Reynolds said. "I work from home, so it is important that I feel comfortable and safe in my home, and I felt both of those at this community. Village Grove just has so much character – it truly is a great place to live."
Reynolds was looking for a fresh start when she moved into her new home. She is recently divorced, and her children are grown. While she initially wanted a master on the main plan, Reynolds was immediately sold on The Vickery plan when she toured a model of that plan which features the master upstairs.
"When I walked into The Vickery model, I knew that was the plan I wanted," she said. "The bedroom is my sanctuary, and I love that I have a small deck off the master suite to unwind from a long day."
In addition to the deck off the master suite, the home also features a large front porch where Reynolds has added chairs, as well as a patio off the kitchen where she placed a swing. Reynolds loves that there are so many areas of her home that she can utilize and has enjoyed that her home is decorated to best suit her own needs and style.
Reynolds not only raved about her new home and Richport Properties' quality built homes, but she has also thoroughly enjoyed getting to know her new neighbors. She and a friend have started organizing neighborhood get-togethers. Several weeks ago, Reynolds hosted a small block party at her home where people brought their favorite dish and mingled with one another. Most recently, she and her friend organized a dinner outing to a nearby restaurant.
"There is just such a wide variety of people in this neighborhood, and it's been very interesting to get to know everyone," Reynolds said. "My friend and I enjoy organizing these get-togethers and hope to continue doing so about once every month."
All of the homes at Village Grove feature neo-traditional influences. Homeowners can choose from nine different floor plans. This architectural styling is reflected in the doors, windows, front porches and rear-entry garages. The two-story homes feature brick or stone accents. Each home has a gas lantern in the front yard. Ranging from approximately 1,700 to 3,100 square feet, the three- and four- bedroom homes feature large family rooms with fireplaces, masters on the main, rocking chair front porches, deluxe kitchens with solid surface countertops, extensive hardwood floors and master baths with garden tubs. A unique live, work and play community, eleven parks can be found throughout the community, and additional amenities include sidewalks throughout, a playground and a swim/tennis facility. The Homeowners Association covers trash removal and lawn maintenance at The Enclave at Village Grove.
