For Aimee Highfield, Betty Anderson and their families the choice to purchases new homes in Gwinnett County's popular Stonecypher community was an easy one. Stonecypher is a traditional development neighborhood located adjacent to Old Town Suwanee with homes priced from the $190,000s. "We searched through several communities in this area to find the right home for us," said Aimee Highfield. "And the difference in quality and spaciousness in the homes here at Stonecypher was tremendous. We could not be happier with our home. Richport Properties truly pays attention to the details that are so important." Aimee moved with her husband from North Carolina in December 2005 to purchase their very first home. They purchased a Hampton plan, which features three bedrooms, two and one-half baths with a basement. Betty Anderson, her husband and three teenagers moved from another community in Suwanee one year ago to downsize to a home that requires less upkeep and maintenance. "Richport Properties has been very receptive to our needs," said Betty Anderson. "The warranty program they offer is excellent and things are repaired in such a timely manner that it makes it so hassle-free, which is exactly what we were looking for in a new home builder." The Anderson family also enjoys the close proximity of the library, restaurants and shopping. "With two teenage girls in the house, the location of the community has been a plus," said Betty Anderson. "We spend a lot of time at the library, the girls can walk to their part-time jobs and the whole family loves being able to walk to the restaurants in Old Town Suwanee for dinner." At Stonecypher, Craftsman-style cluster homes feature covered front porches where owners and guests can visit during the summer. Features such as marble fireplaces and 9-foot ceilings on the first floor make the homes as welcoming on the inside as they are inviting from the outside. The community features a 6-acre natural conservation area donated to the Gwinnett Open Land Trust by Richport Properties. This area will offer homeowners a common place to enjoy the outdoors and build community spirit. And, sidewalks connect the homes and create an easy walk to PlayTown Suwanee and other Old Town Suwanee amenities.
