The Lakeside Dugout Club has something to cheer about – due to the support of volunteers like Richport Properties the high school baseball team now has a new batting cage.
"Being a new home builder means more than building homes," said Rick Porter, President of Richport Properties. "It is also our responsibility to help support the communities where our homeowners live, work and play. We were more than happy to volunteer our time and donate our skills to support the Lakeside Dugout Club. In the end, we all came out winners."
To assist with the cost of the batting cage, Richport Properties provided construction management and some of the costs involved with labor.
Lakeside High School is located in DeKalb County and its baseball team has enjoyed many winning streaks – earning region championship titles in 2001 - 2002 -2003 – 2004 and attending the state playoffs in state playoffs 2001 - 2002 - 2003 - 2004 - 2005
